Places to see/visit in Ahmedabad
Although ahmedabad doesn't have much to offer for tourists (like natural or historical places) but a lot has been built in the last 20-30 years in the city that even 7 days won't be sufficient to cover all these places:
1. Temples : There are several picturesque temples within the city that one cannot miss:
- ISCKON Temple, Bodakdev - It is on S.G. Highway and like all other ISCKON temples, very beautiful to watch.
- Hare Krishna Mandir, Bhadaj - again a temple by ISCKON
- Trimandir, Adalaj - beautiful temple and have own canteen for food.
- Swaminarayan Mandir, Shahibaug
- Hutheesingh temple, Shahibaug
- Swaminarayan Mandir, Kalupur
- Bhagwat Mandir, Sola
- Vaishnodevi Temple, Sola
- Jagannath Mandir, Ahmedabad
